COVID-19 Update from Performance Feeders
Valued Business Partners:
Performance Feeders is currently fully operational during this pandemic. We are not currently subject to any blanket “shelter-in-place” or “non-essential business closure” orders. If that were to happen, Performance Feeders, as a manufacturer of products supplying many Critical Infrastructure Sectors as defined by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, will continue to remain fully operational to meet the needs of the critical infrastructure of the United States.
We have taken the necessary steps to reduce coronavirus exposure risk to our employees, their families and our business partners. We have halted all non-emergency business travel, instituted procedures to disinfect high-traffic areas multiple times a day and suspended non-essential visits from non-employees. We have instituted daily temperature checks of all employees before they enter the building and will not allow anyone with a fever to enter. We have educated our employees on the steps necessary to minimize the spread of COVID-19, including social distancing, frequent hand washing and minimizing gatherings. We actively encourage any employee who has symptoms of COVID-19 (either themselves or family members) to not come to work until they or their family members are well and without symptoms. We are having daily meetings with our employees, keeping them well-informed of developments, and actively encouraging everyone and their families to eliminate all non-essential trips to minimize their chances of exposure. Simply put, we are asking everyone to go to work, go home and go out otherwise only when necessary.
As a member of the Critical Manufacturing Industry of Critical Infrastructure sectors, please be advised that as the COVID-19 situation progresses, we may be forced to prioritize projects that are considered critical to the COVID-19 crisis and national security over those that are not. We will make every effort possible to meet all commitments while honoring our duty to serve the needs of the United States and its citizens during this unprecedented crisis.
We appreciate your business and understanding and wish the best to all of you and your families during this difficult time.
Warm Regards,
Harvey Minton, Chief Financial Officer
